Program:

Ob prihodu vas bo pričakal okusen mediteranski prigrizek in kozarček vina, ki vas bosta spodbudila za nadaljnje raziskovanje mediteranske kulinarike. Po pozdravnem nagovoru vas bomo skozi teorijo in prakso popeljali na mediteransko popotovanje, polno novih znanj in zabave. Pripravljali bomo več različnih specialitet od osvežilne grške solate do hrustljavo pečene mediteranske polente. Spekli bomo čudovito morsko ribo in se naučili, kaj narediti z ostanki rib, ki so nam ostali od včerajšnjega piknika. Vse, kar bomo skupaj skuhali, bomo seveda tudi pojedli in poplaknili z dobro vinsko kapljico.

O tečaju:

Okusi mediterana so se v Sredozemlju razvijali več stoletij in so še danes visoko cenjeni po celem svetu. Bogatijo jih sveže, lokalno pridelane sestavine in barvita kulturna dediščina. Sprva bi sicer lahko sklepali, da mediteranska kuhinja zajema le plodove morja, vendar pa to nikakor ne drži. Tečaj kuhanja Okusi mediterana bomo Mediteran spoznavali v vsej njegovi čudoviti celoti, prav takega, kot je – prvisnki, dišeč in izjemno okusen!

Kuharski tečaj Okusi mediterana vodi priznani chef Boštjan Palčič. Naučil vas bo pripraviti čudovite mediteranske specialitete, ki jih servirajo v najboljših obmorskih restavracijah! Kuharski tečaj se načeloma izvaja v slovenščini, vendar se lahko glede na zahteve udeležencev izpelje tudi v angleškem jeziku. Priprava jedi bo srednje težavnosti, zato k tečaju vabimo tako popolne začetnike kot že nekoliko bolj spretne gurmanske navdušence.

Minimalna udeležba na delavnicah Kuhaj kot chef je 4, maksimalna pa 12 oseb. Lahko se prijavite v skupini ali kot posamezniki – v obeh primerih je odlično vzdušje zagotovljeno! V ceno kuharske delavnice je vštet predpasnik, začetni prigrizek in vinska spremljava tekom ustvarjanja.

TASTE OF THE MEDITERRANEAN

We will be creating:

  • Fish stew
  • Sea fish
  • Homemade Mediterranean pasta
  • Octopus (sous-vide) in salad
  • Baked Mediterranean polenta
  • Greek salad on a stick with tzatziki

Learned skills:

  • getting acquainted with spices & herbs
  • discovering Mediterranean cuisine and its greatest secrets
  • learning how to recognize fresh fish and clean it properly
  • getting to know special gourmet tricks that will make the fish taste better than in the highest ranking restaurants

Workshop Plan:

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a delicious Mediterranean snack and a glass of wine, which will encourage you to further explore Mediterranean cuisine. After the welcome speech, we will take you on a Mediterranean journey full of new knowledge and fun. We will prepare several different specialties from a refreshing Greek salad to crispy baked Mediterranean polenta. We will bake a wonderful sea fish and learn what we can do with the fish leftovers from yesterday’s picnic. Everything that we will be cooking together, we will of course also eat and rinse it with a sip of good wine.

About the course:

Mediterranean flavours have been evolving in the Mediterranean for centuries and are highly valued throughout the world even today. They are enriched with fresh, locally grown ingredients and colorful cultural heritage. The Mediterranean diet is not just about the type of cuisine, but rather about a “lifestyle” that is healthy and vibrant. Precisely because it cleverly combines body-friendly ingredients with indulging taste buds, this type of cuisine has so many fans even outside the Mediterranean.

The cooking course Mediterranean flavours is held by the renowned Chef Boštjan Palčič, who ensures that the program will be fun, professionally-educational and full of cooking tricks! The course is initially held in Slovenian but can be held in English if our guests require so. Minimal turnout is 4 and maximum 10 people. You are dearly welcome to apply alone or in a group – in both cases we asure you will enjoy the time cooking with us. Price of the course includes apron, starter snack and wine supply all until the end.
